Conservation & Restoration of Furniture, Wooden Artefacts and Decorative Surfaces
Conservation and Restoration Services
The approach, treatments and duration of work are different for every individual item depending on their materials, condition and the purpose of the artefact. The aim of the conservation of artefacts belonging to a museum is often to stabilize and preserve them as they are whereas the aim for privately owned furniture is often to restore them to indicate their original appearance. In many cases it is a mixture of both conservation and restoration. I have listed the services I can provide below and each project can be tailored to each clients and items needs.
